Share Your Leadership Story

Help future leaders feel less alone.

EdLeadia invites school leaders to share anonymized stories, lessons, and lived moments that can support others navigating the human side of leadership.

Why this matters

Many leadership lessons are learned quietly: in hard conversations, unexpected decisions, staff tension, family concerns, student support, self-doubt, and small moments of courage.

EdLeadia gathers those lived experiences and turns them into carefully anonymized support tools for aspiring, new, and developing school leaders. Your story may help someone else pause, reflect, and take a clearer next step.

Express interest

Tell EdLeadia you may be open to sharing a story.

This form is only an expression of interest. Before any interview is scheduled, you will receive clearer details about the purpose, recording, transcription, anonymization, possible use in EdLeadia, and any honorarium if one is offered.

Please keep this general. A country, province, state, or region is enough.
For urgent school, safety, HR, legal, or safeguarding matters, use your official local process instead of this form.

Common questions

Will my name or school be used? +

No. EdLeadia is designed around anonymized and de-identified leadership stories. Names, school names, district names, specific locations, and identifying details are removed or generalized before content is considered for use.

Could my story be used in a paid EdLeadia platform? +

Possibly, but only under the consent details provided before the interview. EdLeadia may become or remain a paid professional learning platform, so consent language needs to be clear about possible use in member content, audio scripts, support tools, and AI-safe summaries.

What kind of story is most useful? +

The most useful stories are specific moments: a difficult conversation, a decision under pressure, a staff relationship challenge, a student support dilemma, a family concern, a mistake, a boundary issue, or a moment when you realized leadership was different from what you expected.

Will the interview be recorded and transcribed? +

Only with permission. If an interview is scheduled, you will receive clearer details about recording, transcription, storage, anonymization, and possible use before anything is recorded.

Can I skip questions or stop the interview? +

Yes. The interview should feel respectful and professional. You can skip questions, avoid sensitive details, or stop the conversation. Any withdrawal or removal limits will be explained in the consent details before the interview.

Is there an honorarium? +

When an honorarium is offered, the amount, currency, method, and timing will be clearly stated before scheduling. Submitting this form does not guarantee selection, payment, or an interview invitation.

Your leadership story may become someone else’s reminder: “I’m not the only one.” Share interest only if you are comfortable being contacted about a future anonymized EdLeadia story interview.
